I love these chimes. The tones are soothing, not irritating like some others. The size is large and nice. They are well made and lovely to look at. I actually have these hanging over two of my beloved pets' graves, my 14 yr old dog "Sarge" and my 15 yr old cat "Cali Muffin"(both passed over rainbow bridge one year ago). It is a comforting soothing chime. And with the wind we have been having in Texas, they chime 24 hours a day!

This is THE BEST sounding wind chime I have ever purchased! I wanted a chime that wasn't too high pitched or too low like a doorbell, but rather this is absolutely heavenly. The product arrived in pristine condition, nicely and carefully packed, and included registration for future drawings for a free wind chime. I have mine hanging on an S-hook outside my patio door and it chimes around the clock, but not annoying. If you are not certain about which chime sounds resonate with you, be sure to play the audio on this chime before you purchase. I will definitely purchase from this company again!

My wife and I are super happy with these chimes. They are just large enough to provide a very full sound. I don't know if I'd want to go any smaller, but I'd love to go bigger to get even more low end. The brass color is evenly applied across the tubes and the weight is heavy enough so that they don't blow sideways, even in serious winds. We had some 50 mph gusts and they weren't hitting the building, which is about 18 inches from where they hang. The sound carries well, though it isn't so intense that your neighbors will complain. In a good breeze I can hear them from my upstairs office, which is probably 25 yards away.

The media could not be loaded.  We have the Woodstock chimes of Neptune on our deck, next to the Woodstock chimes of the Earth. They sound beautiful together, the lows of Neptune mingling with the higher notes of the Earth. Unfortunately, since our cold weather prevents us from leaving the window open, the chimes are hard to hear. So....we now have the chimes Bells of Paradise hanging in our living room. With just a gentle push, the sounds are deep, and the hum goes on for an extended period of time. I have very sensitive hearing, and they do not hurt my ears at all, even standing next to them. The arm of the lamp where they are hanging has a little bounce. We are way beyond pleased with all the chimes.

Well made, sounds amazing.. I like the fact that they don't constantly make a sound.. it has a dreamy kind of sound to it . For anyone complaining that it did not come with a hook, just purchase the 6 hooks for 6 dollars that they recommend; it is worth it! These have a deep ZEN like sound.. somber and reflecting... not the tinny sound some make.. that is what I love about these and the price is great.

I love the deep, resonant tones of this windchime, and the fact that the chimes are tuned to create a beautiful song no matter which way the wind blows. Even hearing them from inside the house makes me feel calmer and happier.

I bought these as Christmas gifts for loved ones living far from me. I wanted something that kept us all bonded together throughout the year. I get random calls, texts, and emails repeatedly thanking me for this gift. They truly are the best wind chimes on the market and we all love that we share the same sounds of Bells of Paradise and think of each other whenever the wind blows a bit. Super relaxing, looks great, and can't beat the beautiful non invasive sounds. True to its name, the Bells of Paradise are the way to gift!

These are easily $40-$50 chimes. $76 after tax...not so much. I own some excellent chimes that I thought were woodstock (they were a gift) and I wanted to have one in each corner of my yard so ordered these. I found out that another company made the original chimes AFTER I received this purchase. I immediately felt buyers remorse so asked the person who gifted me the original chimes where they came from. In all fairness I learned they cost more than twice as much as these and were in fact another brand. That being said they are still 3-4 times the chimes that these so called large chimes wish they were. They are heavy and well made and I know they will stand up to the weather better then my new chimes. I can feel the more expensive chime's reverberation on my skin from 15 feet away and in fact use them to teach sensitivity for Tai Chi push hands. The woodstock chimes can barely be felt when standing next to them. They do sound exactly like the video and are pretty-ish but rather thin, puny and lightweight compared to higher quality chimes. I had to check the box to see if they were possibly medium...sent by mistake..no they are "large". Also the striker sits askew on the string and appears to be on upside down (larger hole drilled in striker where the knot should sit inside but instead it is on the top surface and knot is on bottom. It cannot sit at 90 degree angle to the chime and will annoy anyone with OCD. I went to a store that sells chimes and saw many of woodstock chimes are thrown together in this fashion while the more expensive chimes' strikers sit evenly. Not cool for the price. I threw away the box so not sure if I can return them. Edit: Just read some other reviews and just like them...I received no O ring with my purchase. I already had an S hook but you'd think for $70 plus they'd send a simple O ring or something to hang them.

I have wanted to own some Woodstock chimes for a very long time, and finally treated myself to the large size, Bells of Paradise chimes in rainforest green. I was charged by the post for an oversized package, but when I opened the Amazon box, a much smaller box lay inside (not oversized!). The chimes were well wrapped and in perfect condition, but like many others before me, I spend the first couple of minutes fishing through the box and tissue paper looking for the O-ring that was missing from the strings. Once I realised that there wasn’t one, I tutted a little (I mean seriously?) and then retrieved one from an old set of keys. Below the loose ends was a knot, which I picked open a little to loosen it and I pushed the knot up towards the top of the loose ends. I then inserted my O-ring in between the strings and hey presto! It’s now hanging on the curtain rail above my french doors as I can’t bring myself to put them outside.As much as the finish is disappointing for the money paid, I still think the tuning and depth of sound is so worth the inconvenience and the price. The rainforest green (the only colour option in the chimes I wanted) is actually almost black, which I love and the ‘feather’ is solid and well made but the strings seem less so. Oh but the sound and the way they resonate is both soothing and healing.

Such calming melodious sounds! Sublime!I like the single vertical support string for each tube - meaning virtually no frictional wear and tear on the strings, no matter how much lateral movement.Very minor downside: the birds take a little while before they become accustomed to the sounds - so close to their feeding stations. ;-)Update: These chimes still sound blissful, but I need to say that the quality of the surface covering of the tubes have been gradually 'bonked off', leaving a sad grey patch (when new it was like the remaining tube outer surface, a fine deep copper colour) where struck. Clearly they haven't been quality tested. I repeat, it still sounds wonderful! So maybe 4 stars more appropriate.

Purchased this in memory of our beloved dog who passed away. Beautifully constructed and you can see the workmanship that has gone into it. The sound is just to lovely and gentle and it was great that you could visit Woodstock on line and hear the different chimes. I would never hesitate to purchase Woodstock again.

Took me a long time to choose these chimes. Once I had decided on woodstock chimes I went on their website and listened to all their chimes. As a process of elimination I chose these. Very happy. They chime gently in a small breeze and sound lovely.

Did lots of research before choosing these chimes (you can listen to each chime on the Woodstock website which is really helpful) and decided these were the ones for us. Not the cheapest, but the quality is excellent and the sound is wonderful on a summer's evening. I'm delighted with the chimes and would definitely recommend.
