As of January 2024 this umbrella still works wonderfully and continues to look brand new.I needed a good umbrella and this one really appealed to me. I chose the London model and upon arrival I was very much impressed. Not only beautiful and even interesting, this puppy is well built and I suspect will last a very long time. If you want compliments, just open this up and take a walk; you won't be disappointed. This umbrella is a real ego booster...compliments just keep rolling in while you're using it.

This Umbrella looks modern and professional, with just a subtle foreboding air. The deep red and innocuous white colors go well with the dark suits and SUVs at the office. I would not go to a meeting at a multinational life sciences company without it.

This umbrella is very sturdy and thus it appears that it will hold up in the wind (although I haven't used it on a windy day yet). The problem is that it is heavier than my previous portable umbrellas and thus will weigh more in my pocketbook than I would like. Also, it is bulkier than previous umbrellas when rolled up. For some, it will be worth the trade off. But I'd prefer a lighter portable umbrella so it does not weigh down my shoulder bag.

Bought 2 of these in November of last year. It's 7 months later, and we use them regularly. They are still in great condition. Holding up very nicely. Compared to all my other umbrellas that last a few weeks, these are really strong and durable! Really pleased with purchase!!

I know I live in the "Windy City" but the first time I took it outside with just a little bit of wind, it turned inside out. Normally, I'd give it some points for at least being a decent umbrella otherwise, but the structure is SO fragile, even the slightest breeze turns it inside out. I literally have to hold the edges of it during a storm to try and stay dry (doesn't work, by the way). $5 umbrellas from Walgreens are sturdier than this. Waste of money.

I have owned this umbrella now for almost two years. This is the best umbrella I have owned. It has survived snowstorms, heavy rainfall, and strong wind gusts. Well worth the money.

Disappointed in this item. Probably would not recommend. The positive is the two tone color making it distinctive.

This was a gift for my boyfriend on Christmas. He likes the color and auto open/close. It's supposed to be vented like in the picture. I also bought the purple one which was vented. I told my boyfriend I would return it, but he liked it so much he wanted to keep it. So now he has a ventless umbrella that he likes...that has survived SF...but seriously. It should be vented.
