Good concept with a gotcha.
Probably the best solution out there for securing your expensive laptop. I was really bummed however, when I used the lock with an accessory that is included that allows you to also secure your power cable or a mouse, that it prevents the screen from opening completely. As a result, the corner of my display got knicked, and one of the corner screws that attach the bracket for the lock popped out. Serious design flaw.If you get this lock, I suggest only using it to lock your computer and don't worry about locking your power cable with the added accessory. Besides, the accessory hook is loose and easily lost.

Great lock
This is a great lock. It is easy to install (and remove) and unobtrusive once in place. It locks and unlocks with a key. The coil chain is very springy but once the computer is in position that is not an issue for me.
