Making various designs is one of my youngest daughter's favorite pastimes, especially while listening to book or just needing some quiet time. We have lots of spare beads, but only a few different boards to put them on. These boards actually aren't that different from some of the ones she already has, but we bought them for a very specific purpose...Actually, we only needed one. See, for Christmas, we got our daughter the smART Pixelator. It basically uses the same idea these boards use, but with a way to connect to an app and make your own images from a lighted template. We thought it was a great idea and my daughter was really excited. That is until after she started working on her first image. She didn't have all the colors she wanted from the beads that came with the kit so she tried to use some of the other ones she already had. THEY ARE DIFFERENT SIZES!!! I hate marketing like this. The board and beads that come with the smART Pixelator are slightly smaller than the generic ones you can find anywhere else. If you want to use their product, you have to spend more on their size beads. LAME!So I had the bright idea of spending a little on some transparent boards I could cut down to fit in the place of the one the kit came with. That way, the image may not line up exactly, but my daughter could use all the beads we already had. I looked for one that was close to or slightly bigger than the right size and looked for the cheapest one I could find. This was pretty much it (there might have been a few others that cost less, but I was tired of looking and this one came with spares in case I ended up cutting it wrong). When they showed up, I was surprised to find out they actually fit exactly over the light up thing without any need for me to cut them down. They also fit over the corner pegs so it doesn't move once in place. Problem solved much easier than expected.Oh, and I guess I could talk about the other things I like too. One, unlike the smART Pixelator variety, these boards fit the traditional sized beads. I shouldn't have to say that, but some brands are stupid and make their own thing because money is more important than customer satisfaction... sorry, I'll stop ranting now. The boards also connect together in case you want to make some really big picture. It would take a lot of patience, but hey, go for it. I haven't tried the iron paper yet. It looks more like transparency paper (those too young to know what that is could probably google it). Once I do, if it causes problems, I'll come back and edit my review. For now, I think it will work great so I'm giving a full five stars overall.

Kids love the pearlors

They come with paper and tweezers which is helpful. They are very big and it’s helpful when making big objects. They are easy to use and just snap together! I’ve been using them on and off for several weeks and haven’t had a problem with them warping like other reviews say. Keep your iron on a low enough heat and you’ll be fine. I iron with the linen setting and everything is fine. Love these!!

Great product! No issues. You just need to know how much heat to apply. For best results, fold a piece of parchment paper in half like a book, put your completed peg board in the "book", close the "book", iron on top JUST ENOUGH to fuse the beads. Flip the entire "book" over, then remove the peg board from the fused beads. The fused beads will remain in the "book". Iron again to fuse the other side.

I originally ordered the extra larger single board for my son to build a Super Mario and then realized it was two rows too short. My fault. These were suggested to me and so I ordered these to replace the other. He was was able to use 4 out of the 6 to build his creation. The size of the boards are nice. I wish they were either a little thicker/sturdier or connect together more better. Overall, I am happy with them. I would order them again.

So far they’re holding up pretty well, really good price for how many there is (: it came with free ironing plastic & 2 tweezers. The spikes are a bit longer & pointy which I personally like

Boards warped after one use, won't even stay together now.
