This grilling basket is not too "thick" - it holds hamburgers perfectly - especially with the small mesh size. It may not be as good for "large" stuff, like chicken pieces or large veggies. (I have an older, larger basket for that, but the old one would not hold hamburgers.) Also, I like the fact that the handle can be unhinged or folded into the basket - makes it much easier to clean and store this unit than one with a fixed handle.

It's nice and handy for camping BBQ. It's a bit small though.

It cool. Wish it was thicker

I've only used this once over a fire pit. I had to suspend cooking and make a handle extension because my hands were too close to the fire. I was able to cook 5 burgers at once, but when I turned them the final time, the keeper slid back and the 2 halves came apart. Fortunately the burgers were on the bottom and didn't fall into the fire. There needs to be some kind of safety lock to keep it from doing this.

I really like the product the only thing is that it fell apart on the first use. It's made really cheap.

Would not recommend

Great for grilling seafood. Load into the basket and close it. Just that easy. Easy to flip without feeling the heat of the grill. Great tool for the grill!

This is great stainless steel basket. Great quality.
