I don have a lot of need for Forstner bits, but I had a project that required them. I didnt want to invest a lot, and the price point on these bits belies their quality. The cutting was remarkably good! I have no other Forstner bits to compare them to, but they seem fast and clean with a hand held drill and with a drill press. The photograph was of a hole made in hard maple for a furniture project. Perfect.

Very sharp and good quality. Withheld one star as would have preferred them in inches rather than millimeters. Each bit comes in its' own protective plastic case to maintain sharpness and avoid rust. Good price for $10 less a coupon for another 5% off plus free Prime shipping and no sales tax beats buying at retail store. Drill Bit Package include 5 bits of 15mm/20mm/25mm/30mm/35mm. Looks like they could be easily sharpened with a small file. These are for wood only so don't let the description fool you into using on metal. Should be fine for other materials like sheetrock, etc. I like these and recommend them.

Very happy with my purchase. Decent quality bits for less than fifteen bucks delivered. They are not super quality titanium or anything, but they are sharp & cut nice holes. Good seller, world recommend.

Used these to drill holes(2.25") in 3/4 inch pine. The bits were sharp enough and fit my 3/8 chuck.I am happy with the price versus product but they are not equal to my much more expensive name brand bits. These bits seem to heat up faster and clog up on debris from the hole requiring more work.Price is the main factor ..

These bits came very sharp and on my drill press or lathe chuck they cut flawlessly. The only issue I had was the outer cutting tips were a bit dull but I easily sharpened them with a diamond hone. Other forstner bits with sawtooth, serrated, or straight edges all the way around may work well initially, but once they dull the sharpening process is much more difficult because you have multiple teeth or a round cutting edge to hone. With the Meichoon design, you just have the main cutting edge and the two wings to sharpen, which are both simple procedures. After 3 years of testing Forstner bits, these come closest to being perfect for my purposes. But apparently they might not shine for hand held drills, so take that into consideration.

These are not what you call heavy duty but if you’re careful with them, they will definitely last if you’re using them in a drill press only and at the correct speed.

I have never used a Forstner drill bit before, so I can't compare these to other manufacturers, but These cut very nicely and serve the purpose for the projects I'm using these on as a hobbiest. If you are a professional who uses these all the time, they may compare well or not.
