EPS Compatible Toner Cartridges Replacement for Cartridge 137 CRG 137 Compatible with Printer Model MF216N MF227DW F229DW Black

I purchased these cartridges to have on hand spares. I've been using these without problems for a couple of years.

Like many of my fellow computer users, a person who prints all day and night, I can easily exhaust cases of toner. At first I was a little skeptical of this non-Canon branded toner cartridge. Just to be safe, I also purchased the true Canon 137 cartridge just in case the EPS replacement failed in any manner. Well darn it, the EPS replacement for the Canon 137 is still rocking and rolling through all of my demanding print jobs. Not only are the print jobs being completed just like the usual brand name cartridge, the jobs are an exact match in quality. I never purchase re-inked toner cartridges but since the EPS was brand new, I took a chance and ordered one. I highly recommend this brand of cartridge as a substitute for the brand name. Thanks EPS for a great product.

I bought this toner five months ago (April 2015) to see if a non-name brand was comparable to the original. Within a few weeks the printing started to get light. I chalked it up to "you get what you pay for" and added Buy New Toner to my list of things to do. Well, guess what??? Within a week of the ink starting to get light, the vendor (Toner 100) contacted ME via email and asked if I was having problems with my toner. Apparently they identified a bad batch and they were trying to rectify the situation. When I said "Yes", they shipped a replacement cartridge within a day or two. That replacement cartridge has lasted nearly five months with a print load supporting a full time MBA program. This product has definitely provided value for the money.

I've had my doubts about refilled toner cartridges, having experience with them when I was working in an office. However, due to the high cost of original toner cartridges, I decided to take a chance on this particular brand after looking at the other options available on Amazon. I'm happy to say that this cartridge prints as well as the cartridge that came with my Canon MF216n laser printer. The printouts are clean with no streaks and the print is as dark and sharp as the Canon cartridge. I was so satisfied that I placed an order for a 2nd cartridge!

I used to buy a lot of these and they would last about 3 months or so. Then the printing got real light and hard to read on several cartridges. The latest cartridge only last 3 weeks! My printing volume, or lack of, has not changed, it's real consistent. It also does not stick to mailing labels or business cards. It smears and it's almost like a toner bonding to surface issue.Update. The toner appears to be better, but the capacity is not 2200 pages. With the last several cartridges I've only gotten about 500-750 pages at most, including lots of envelopes with only an address printed on them.

Having purchased this back in August 22019, I am just today (2/17/2020) trying to install it. This is actually the third cartridge I have purchased just like this. It will not install, and after comparing it with the previous one, which worked fine, I noticed the spring that holds a plastic flap in place is too short to be of any use. Therefore, I am unable to install it.This is terribly frustrating. I have paid for something which there is no way to recycle and it does not work. Hopefully the lifetime warranty is still good.Update: I emailed the seller and have received a prompt refund for my purchase. I still don't know what to do with the broken cartridge, but at least a new one can be purchased.Pretty good customer service, at that!

I like using the toner cartridge; it usually lasts for between 2,500-3000 sheets of printed paper; it is much easier to handle and install the toner cartridge in a laser jet printer, than it was to install the ink cartridges, in an ink jet printer. The latter products were always leaking, and made a mess. I don't have that problem with this product.

Went in easy and so far so good. If something comes up I'll update. UPDATE: 5th or 6th time buying this product. Switched to a cheaper option once and will never do that again. In the long run its the best option to the manufacturers and works best with the machine, only con is the toner doesn't seem to work with Avery brand labels(only labels) well although they are for laser printers but other brands this toner is fine.
