What ever you do definitely don’t buy this product or deal with Rylo! Terrible, Terrible Terrible! If you put it in the case it comes with or the Adventure Case the battery and camera overheats within minutes and shuts down preventing you from using. If it’s out of the case the lens shattered when the camera tipped over. The Adventure Case lost screw heads that hold the lens in place from rusting off after one day of minimal use in a swimming pool. They show it used in the saltwater marine environment. Total lie if the screws rust off from a single use in a swimming pool. The knob used to screw attach the Adventure Case to the Rylo selfie stick also started to rust. Rylo the company does not accept or provide phone calls to assist with their product. Their email process is poor and unresponsive. This is by far the worst camera/video product or system I have ever touched. I have done professional and hobby photo and video for over 30 years and never had so many issues with any units. Rylo has managed to fail at all areas. Their sales pitch and marketing material is the best part of their product. You would be far better served with a GoPro or anything else. Prevent the frustration, aggravation, and extreme disappointment you will have if you buy Rylo! I could go on and on about plenty of other issues with this product and company however I’m done and moving on. It’s your money and your life. Do what you want.

Another Update.... the lens on this camera scratched in my bag. I reached out to the manufacturer and asked if there were any options. They said there were none. Rylo is the worst. Don’t buy their productOn top of that I tested in multiple conditions and the software is incredibly limited. You have to be in broad daylight for the quality to be decent. This is the most fragile camera I have ever owned. Pretty disappointed with this product so far. I feel like I been duped by the marketing. For one... the camera by itself is fragile. You want to use the action case. When the camera is in ... the case it reduces sound and clarity of the video. I grabbed the camera and took it out to test... spent a whole day at a festival and apparently it errored the whole time, because the camera doesn’t like the memory card. I even reformatted the card multiple times. Would not work. My issue is that neither the app or the camera properly alerts you that its not functioning. The software is not very helpful. All these issues and then... when i finally get it to work, the quality is not that good at all. Doesn’t compare vs my other 4k action cameras. I am selling and buying the gopro max at this point. I do not recommend this product.

Within 15minutes of using it for the first time. The damn thing shut off due to heat. It was sunny and around 80 degrees F outside. It was NOT in the closed case. And 'Adventure' camera should not shut down that easily!Unless you plan on using this in 70 degree weather stay far away!My Cell phone has better picture quality. My drone has better picture quality. It does not handle light extremes well.There is no windows app. You must do all photo editing through the android or ISO app unless you have MacOS (not a deal breaker but the other things I've mentioned just don't make this thing worth the money).I would have dealt with some of the issues. But I refuse to keep something that can't last 15minutes on a normal sunny summer day in Michigan at 6pm.

Purchased to take the place of an ancient GoPro Hero 2 after lengthy research, and I’m floored at how much fun I’m having with the Rylo! So far, it’s only been used as a helmet cam snowboarding, but the quality of footage captured and stabilization exceeded my expectations. Love the app as well. I can’t wait to use Rylo as we roll into spring/summer as it will be along for all family adventures! My one big wish is for desktop editing in Windows...but I’m also looking forward to other surprise enhancements that may be coming!

First of all, the battery list is very short than I expected. Even I purchased extra battery, it's almost useless also.I used Rylo with adventure case, when I pressed the button, it didn't function properly. For example, I started to record then it didn't react when I press the button. It was supposed to stop the recording. It didn't show anything message on the small window of Rylo. I didn't know whether it's recording still or not. Then, I should have pressed it long enough and restarted Rylo.I have another experienced while recording. After 10-15 seconds, it stopped to record automatically. Then, I pressed to start recording again. After 10-15 seconds, it stopped again.When I used the remote, the signal was so week. I couldn’t use it properly. If the distance is over 1 ft between Rylo and my phone, it couldn’t pick up the Rylo at all. This remote function is another useless.It was unpleasant experience of using 360 camera than Samsung Gear 360 except the quality of images That's the reason I put 2 stars of overall rating.

This thing is amazing! Phenomenal product. Stabilization leads the industry and the footage looks amazing. The thing that sets Rylo apart though is the ap... we were able to record, download footage, edit and upload to our youtube channel (Stanley Orchard) without once looking at the instructions (i'm a dude, thats what i do). But the ap itself was amazing. The ap was easy and allows the user to pick all the best sections of their footage before downloading. Simply amazing product and the future of great footage.

When I saw this camera I was stoked about buying it to record activities with my kids. After using it for a couple months I'm totally disappointed. Camera over heats and shuts off on regular basis. In multiple occassions I thought i was recording to later find out it shut off. The quality of the video is not as good as I imagine. My gopro pro4 is of better quality and more reliable than this camera.
