All style, no substance
The coat looks nice and it's waterproof, so that's good. However, there are some things that don't really work or are just for decoration. For instance the breast pocket zipper is just a zipper - there is no pocket there. Maybe you could store a pencil, but it's really just for looks. Also the drawstrings at the hood and hem are decorative. They do not have elastic sewn throughout, so you are unable to cinch either the hood or the base of the coat. Finally, there are two pockets whose openings are not at an angle, they are parallel with the ground. So there's a good chance that they could fill up with water. Overall, this coat works fine and my son doesn't really care about the details, but it's definitely a little deceiving to have elements that are just for show and not functional.

Reason I will be returning it is because the zipper is not easy to pull up
I guess it fits as expected if your child is skinny and short as my 8yrs old (54lbs and 48 in). Reason I will be returning it is because the zipper is not easy to pull up. I struggled trying to pull it up and once I did I figured it would be too hard for my child to do it on his own.

Well-made, fits great!
Great basic rain jacket for my son to use for school. It folds up to fit in a backpack but is still sturdy. My son is a boys size 6-8 shirt so the 7x in the jacket was a perfect fit with a little room to grow. I wasn't sure about the look of the white zipper pocket on the front, but in person, it gives the jacket some style. My son likes it, which is even better.

I bought for my grandson. We were always getting caught in the Summer rain. It’s excellent quality!

Would not buy again
Looks very cheap and has a mismatched zipper that functions but does nothing-not a pocket, or a zip-off piece-I don’t get it. Wish I had invested in a brand name instead. This was a waste of money.

My son is 5T I bought a size bigger at 6 and it fits him good with a little room to grow. Very nice jacket and it serves its purpose in the rain!

Nice Jacket for Fall Season
Nice 'rain' jacket for Fall season. Fits as expected for my 5 year old son. He likes it and I would recommend it.

Fits my 7 year old. I don't understand the zipper on the side, it's not a pocket.
