Home button was rotated and looked bad. The adhesive used around the edges overhanged the border of the screen which means it will get in the way when you put the screen into the iPad. Once it was hooked up there was a 1 cm dead spot running horizontaly across the middle of the screen when you hold the iPad in a portrait mode. Also the digitizer cable appeard as if it had been glued down at some point but was coming undone from the screen on the top and bottom. If this is for your personal uses it might be 'good enough' but do not dare think of buying this for a customer repair!

This product has performed well. It took my over an hour to remove all the shattered glass from the Ipad, but that was no fault of the is product. Replaced the screen for a friend to give her old Ipad to her son. The report is that four months later, the repair is working well.

I would give it 0 stars if i could. I fix ipads and iphones all the time and this is the worst screen seller I have ever purchased from. I probably wouldn't have even left a review if it wouldn't have been so bad. The bubble wrap was stuck to the back of the screen from the double sided tape. I also found dirt and pubic hair stuck the adhesive as well. The home button assembly was flipped. I was under the impression I was buying a new screen but it obviously wasn't. And oh half the screen didn't work.

Basic tool-kit needed to open iPad is NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT included!

There is a good saying "You get what you paid for". That is certainly true with this part. It includes the adhesive backing already in place, making installation a breeze!

Home button did not work. It could have possibly been my mistake, I had a hard time reconnecting new one.
