These are great! Seem to work better than the ointment I was prescribed. And basically getting 3 tubes for the price I was paying for 1, with better results.

I have been using this product for years. Less expensive than the “name brand” but works just as well for me.

I used this at night for my dry eyes. It works well.

I have recurrent corneal erosion, and my ophthalmologist Rx'ed Muro 128 for my eyes. Regular eye lubrication wouldn't do, and the Muro 128 is about $30 per tube at my local pharmacy. The store brand Muro 128 at the pharmacy is $20 for a .12oz, and I go through roughly a tube a month or so. I was very disapointed that I couldn't find anything cheaper at the store, and I was so lucky I found this on Amazon--a set of 3 tubes for $27. A super value.The first time I bought this, I got the single tube to see how well it worked. Once, when I was still buying this at the store, they were out of store brand so I had to get the name-brand Muro. I hated it. It didn't come out of the tube, I felt like my eyes stuck to my lids more frequently than they did with the store brand.Well, this product is AWESOME. it works just as well as the pharmacy-brand that I was paying $20 a tube for. Plus, having 3 tubes at once means shopping less frequently and not worrying about running out in an inconvenient time.I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a more affordable option for Muro 128 or other Sodium Chloride 5% Ophthalmic ointment. This is a great deal, and the 3 pack is cheap and convenient.

works well, no difference between Muro128 and this one that I noticed.

I have recurrent erosion syndrome in my right eye. The Akorn Ophthalmic Ointment is an excellent substitute for the very expensive branded Muro 128 Ointment. This ointment prevents my condition from worsening at a reasonable price. I use it every night at bedtime.
