Wish I got this earlier.
Sometimes you do not want to just look down into a eyepiece. This is the reason I brought this product, it makes it easier for me to see at a angle sometimes. Put it in my ETX 60 telescope and last night got some great views of Jupiter and the Moon. Wish I had gotten this earlier and not waited so long. Thanks for a great product.

Basic erecting prism - good for land use
The erecting prism is basic - has plastic pieces and is not "pro" grade. I saw some ghosting while viewing celestial targets. That being said, it is well suited for using your scope to view land-basic objects.

This Prism Saved My Old Model Telescope!!
A moving accident caused my older model Meade telescope to fall over & as luck would have it (not), the prism broke away from the main body & was irreparable. I couldn't afford to purchase a new scope, so called Meade headquarters in California. The Tech who took my call recommended this piece & said it would work as good as new...& he was right! So happy that Amazon carries this product 😄
